Your child might find a career path at your neighborhood school, or through one of the more than 30 magnet, gifted & talented, and specialized school programs (MASP) across our district. Whether your student is interested in music, science, agriculture, or something else entirely – we’ve got a program for that!

Explore what your neighborhood school has to offer using Fayette Forward, our new online interactive guide. Or visit FCPS.net/masp to learn more about other opportunities, whose entrance requirements vary. The MASP application window for the 2026-27 school year is open through Jan. 30. 

In-Person Events

You can also drop by an open house, information night, or guided tour of various campuses. Check the district website at FCPS.net/calendar for the schools’ details. 

And be sure to save the date for the districtwide Innovation Showcase: Saturday, Jan. 10, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Tates Creek High School. There, you can browse resource tables and talk with teachers and staff from across the district about their programs!
